The Miyay Birray Youth Service is a community based, not for profit organisation based in Moree. Miyay Birray works to support the development of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal young people (between 0 and 18 years). Margaret Tucker Hostel is a SAAP funded hostel providing supported accommodation for young Aboriginal girls and their children aged 15 to 18 years. The hostel is managed and staffed by Aboriginal women and Elders and is committed to preserving Aboriginal communities as their own source of healing and strength. Margaret Tucker firmly believes that when you protect and nurture our young generation you protect and nurture their families and communities. We aim to build family capacity and responsibility as the most important lifelong support system for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.

Youth Off The Streets is a non-denominational community organisation working for young people aged 12-21 who are facing challenges of homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, exclusion from school, neglect and abuse. We support these young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense personal traumas such as neglect and physical, psychological and emotional abuse. Our 25 services include crisis accommodation, alcohol and other drug services, counselling, accredited high schools, outreach, residential programs and a mentoring program. Volunteers support us every step of the way.
